Three things you can hold.
They are independent.

A free account costs nothing and lets you validate an idea. A membership is a subscription on your account, at Member, Pro or Max, and it sets your allowances. A project grade is a one-time purchase attached to one project, at Bronze, Silver or Gold. A membership and a grade do not affect each other: buying a grade does not change your membership, and changing your membership does not affect a grade you have already applied.

Prices are in Singapore dollars and are shown without GST. GST is added at checkout at the prevailing rate and is shown before you pay.

Upgrading, and what it costs.

trending_up Upgrading a membership

Move to a higher level at any time. We cancel your current subscription without a refund and sell you the new one at its list price, less a credit for the unused part of your current term. The credit is worked out on whole days, against the amount you actually paid, in the currency of your original order, and it is shown on the order and your receipt before you confirm.

Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current term. Nothing is refunded, because you keep what you paid for until it runs out, and nothing is deleted.

upgrade Upgrading a project grade

A grade upgrade is its own item at a fixed price, being the difference between the two grades. The higher grade supersedes the lower one for that project. Nothing is refunded for the grade you already bought, and the difference is all you pay.

Who you buy from

invent.sg is a storefront of Corvair Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202551453H), a Singapore company. Payments are processed by Cleverbridge GmbH, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Cleverbridge is the seller of record for the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects and remits any applicable GST. We never receive your card details.

Renewal

Memberships renew automatically at the then-current list price until you cancel. You are told before every renewal charge, and at least thirty days beforehand for an annual membership or for any change in renewal price.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from inside the service. Cancelling takes no more steps than subscribing did, and we will not put anything in the way of it. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.

What cancelling does not do

Nothing is deleted. Your account returns to the free tier, your projects, files and history remain, and projects beyond the free allowance become read-only rather than disappearing. A grade you bought is untouched.

A failed payment

The merchant of record retries and contacts you. Your access continues to the end of the period you paid for. If payment is not collected by then your account returns to the free tier. Nothing is deleted.

Refunds are made in the currency you paid, for the amount you paid, and are processed through the merchant of record. Policies cannot anticipate everything: if something has gone wrong and this does not cover it, ask us. The full position is in the Refund Policy.

Memberships and grades
Do I need a membership to finish a project or to file? add
No, and you never will. A project grade stands on its own: a free account holding Bronze, Silver or Gold gets everything that grade promises. A membership is the exploring layer across all your ideas, and nothing you need to reach a filing lives behind it.
Why are grades one time rather than a subscription? add
Because inventions finish. You explore many ideas and only a few are worth protecting, so you validate every idea for free and then buy once for the one that earns it. A grade is permanent for its project and never renews.
What does all-inclusive within allowances mean? add
Everything the grade lists is inside its price: every deliverable, every figure, every examination cycle it carries. Allowances exist so a runaway job cannot surprise anyone, and they are sized so a typical project never meets one. If you approach one you are warned early, in plain language, and told what is consuming the budget.
What happens if my membership lapses? add
Your account returns to the free tier. Nothing is deleted: your projects, files, documents and history remain, and everything you generated stays viewable. Capabilities that needed a paid level become unavailable, and projects beyond the free allowance become read-only rather than being removed. Any grade you bought is untouched.
Can I change my mind about a membership? add
Yes. A first membership is refunded in full if you cancel within fourteen days of your first payment. You can also cancel at any time from inside the service, in no more steps than subscribing took.
What if I run a PIVOT? add
A PIVOT archives the current project and seeds a new one, carrying your work and your grade forward at no extra charge. You never buy the same project twice.
Where do I see the price I will actually pay? add
At checkout, before you pay. The list price, any member or promotional discount, any membership-upgrade unused-term discount, the fixed grade-upgrade price, and GST are shown on the order and repeated on your receipt.
Trust and reliance
Is my work used to train AI models? add
No. We do not use your project content to train AI models, and we contract with our AI providers on terms that prohibit it. The full position is in the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Can I rely on what the service produces? add
Read it before you rely on it. The service uses AI, its output can be wrong or incomplete, and it is not legal advice and not a substitute for a patent attorney or agent. A search that finds nothing is not proof that nothing exists.
How old do I have to be? add
Fifteen, or older where the law of your market requires it. Your Market Schedule says if it does.
Outside the price
Do I have to hire a patent attorney or agent? add
No. IPOS does not require you to use a patent attorney or agent to file a patent in Singapore: you can file directly yourself through the IPOS Digital Hub open_in_new. Professional help is recommended, not mandatory: an attorney or agent knows how to word claims so they hold up and how to answer the examiner, which is where applications are won or lost. invent.sg prepares you for either path, and your binder is built so a professional can pick it up cleanly if and when you decide to engage one.
What will I still pay beyond invent.sg? add
IPOS charges its own official fees at filing and as an application progresses; those are always separate and are set by IPOS, not by us. Beyond that, the only other cost is a patent attorney or agent, if you choose to engage one, and that is optional rather than required. Neither is included in any invent.sg price.
Who actually files my application? add
You can, directly through the IPOS Digital Hub open_in_new, or a registered Singapore patent attorney or agent can do it for you. We prepare either way: the disclosure, the description, the claims, and the drawings, organised into a binder that names its own gaps honestly so nothing surprises whoever files.
